Is your Ops team still manually configuring, deploying, and maintaining your Linux servers? A manual approach can be time-consuming and error-prone. Ansible automation might seem daunting, but I can help.
I have a degree in Computer Science from the Vienna University of Technology and more than 30 years of professional experience in the IT sector — as a manager of operations, DevOps engineer, developer, architect, and Ansible automation expert.
Here’s what I can do for you:
Ansible architecture — designing automation frameworks: I create plans and structures that explain how Ansible can be used within your organization. This involves understanding your current system and designing a customized automation solution that fits your organization’s needs.
Ansible implementation — setting up automation: I install and configure Ansible to automate repetitive tasks. This might include setting up servers, deploying applications, and configuring network devices. By automating these tasks, I help reduce the risk of human error and save your team time.
Ansible coaching — training teams: I teach and guide your Ops teams on how to use Ansible effectively. This includes providing training sessions, creating documentation, and offering ongoing support to ensure your team can independently manage and extend their automation processes.
Why this is important:
Efficiency: Automating tasks with Ansible saves a lot of time. Instead of manually configuring each server or application, the process can be done quickly and consistently across multiple systems.
Accuracy: Manual processes are prone to human error. Automation ensures that tasks are done the same way every time, reducing the likelihood of mistakes.
Scalability: As your business grows, managing more servers and applications becomes more complex. Automation helps scale these operations without needing to proportionally increase your team size.
