MBO Partners State of Independence in America 2021, one of the finest annual reports about the U.S. freelance economy, has just been released. The number of full-time independents (or freelancers) has jumped to 17M in 2021, the largest increase in a decade.
The full PDF report titled The Great Realization also covers significant trends like creator economy, digital nomads, freelancers’ well-being, confidence, and earnings (independents earning over $100K grew whopping 30%).
