About me
I truly enjoy connecting people and projects. It is my passion, and I always knew that this is what I really want to do. Journalism, marketing, social media, customer care, PR or smart ads — this is, in my case, all driven by my calling to make the world a better place through connecting the right people at the right place at the right time. Living in Brno (Czechia) and working throughout CEE.
Over the course of my career I have come full circle — corporation man, large agency employee, freelancer, and finally co-owner of an agency. At Influencer.cz, we help brands to communicate with their existing and potential customers and also to use the power of social media inside and outside their organization. Our clients have included BMW, L’Oréal, CETIN (PPF), EA, Heineken, Tesco, Prozeta, Albatros Media, Carollinum, and Bohemia Sekt. We registered our influencer.cz domain before youtubers really got started: For us, it was always more about opinion leaders and business decision makers, which makes us different from most influencer agencies.
For 10+ years, I have been active within the Czech digital marketing scene — lecturing, teaching, and organizing local and international events. BabelCamp (a CEE social media conference) and BabelTalks (smaller social media evenings in Prague and Brno) were two of my own events, but I have helped with other projects too.
Career highlights: I have been working as Brand Ambassador for ROI Hunter / Business Factory and was their first country manager for the Polish market. I was at Ataxo / H1.cz as their social media guy (helping companies like Apple, Generali, Hypoteční banka), one of the guys behind Social Insider (the first social media monitoring tool for Czechia). Even before that: I was the main online representative of mBank during the two initial years of its launch in Czechia, a web marketing specialist, a long-time blogger (since 2000!), a co-organizer of the Brno Zoom festival (digital culture showcase), and a project manager for creating, maintaining and rethinking online projects.
